This is Shoreline Park, also known as The Mesa. There's not much I can say
about this place; it's just s strip of grass running along next to the road,
but you do get a nice view of Santa Barbara and the ocean from here. Kite
flyers like to fly fancy kites here. There was one neighbor who called the
Police complaining that the kites made too much noise and violated the city's
noise ordinance. I think the city council had to add it to their agenda of
important items to discuss, along with should we make the downtown swimming
pool a historic landmark so they can't tear it down and make a parking lot
out of it. (Yes that swimming pool is now a historical landmark!)
