For the third segment of our tour we'll go back to the Mission and down Los
Olivas Street to Anacapa street. Turning left we'll go down Anacapa street to the
Santa Barbara Courthouse. After visiting the Courthouse we'll continue down
Anacapa street all the way to the end, turn right onto Gutierrez Street, and go one
block to State Street. There we'll go under the relatively new State Street
underpass and address the significance of this tiny edifice. Then we'll sneak
through the Amtrack parking lot (don't worry the first 75 minutes are free)
and visit Santa Barbara's Moreton Bay fig tree, believed to be the largest of
its kind in the world. From there we'll go back up State Street, which is the
main street of downtown Santa Barbara.
