Entrance to Hope Ranch

Entrance to Hope Ranch

Well I think we've done enough shopping for now so let's get back on the road and continue our tour. From La Cumbre Plaza we'll go south across the freeway to the entrance of Hope Ranch. Hope Ranch is where the young money is. It is an extremely beautiful place to go through.

Just after we enter if you look to your left you'll see the Laguna Blanca (white lagoon) surrounded by a golf coarse. I figure this is where all the doctors and lawyers who live here play golf on Wednesdays. This is really a nice place but sometimes the level of the lake gets rather low when we haven't had much rain. Rumor has it that the bottom of this lake is covered with thousands of stray golf balls but I can't vouch for that myself.

The tree stumps remain. One can be seen behind the car, the other is behind the short bushy tree in front of the car. Palm trees block much of the view in this photo.
