From Brooks Institute Montecito Campus Alston Road becomes Alameda Padre Serra often called A.P.S. for short. From here we get a lovely overview of Santa Barbara, the ocean, and the Channel Islands which are about 40 miles away. If you look closely you can see the rows of palm trees which line East Beach over on the left, and over on the right you can just make out Sterns Wharf and the boat harbor.
