The first houselike structure on the wharf is the Harbor Restaurant which is
probably the most expensive place to eat seafood in all of Santa Barbara. By
the way you don't have to row your boat to get there as the picture might
suggest, you can drive your car onto the wharf and a valet will park it for
you.
Or if you can't afford the extravagance of that you can park in other nearby
parking lots near the wharf and take a walk out on the wharf. (Bring good
shoes. high heel spike shoes do not do well on the planks.) Browse through
the gift shops. Check out the Moby Dick restaurant (if there is one) and walk
to the end of the wharf (at least as far as you can go).
