Here is a sign directing us to the Biltmore hotel. The Biltmore is the most prestigious hotel in Santa Barbara. I've heard rumors that some of the rooms go for as much as $2000 a night.

This sign directing us to the Biltmore hotel no longer exists because you can no longer get to the Biltmore hotel this way. The road to the Biltmore which ran along the cliff next to the ocean at one point was washed out some years ago and they decided not to rebuild it, so now you have to go around on Coast Village Road and then down Olive Mill Road to Channel Drive where the Biltmore hotel is.
